Hey, I’m Emma! I’m an animator from the San Francisco Bay Area currently pursuing a BFA in animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My guiding principle is that the best work comes from taking bold risks and creating new experiences. It is a priority of mine not just to immerse myself in my craft, but to expose myself to creatives of all types. I have acquired a diverse set of studio experiences in Film, Graphic Design, and Music, all of which have greatly influenced my work as an Artist, Animator, Writer, and Storyteller. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring! I am always on the lookout for new spots to share with friends; a long cafe chat is one of my favorite pastimes. Music is one of my biggest influences—some artists that inspire me include Blur, My Bloody Valentine, Pulp, and Garbage. When it comes to my work as an Animator and Character Designer, my visual style is influenced by artists like Ai Yazawa, Hayao Miyazaki, Genndy Tartakovsky, and Craig McCracken.
